Hello, my friend and future millionaire.
Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.
My name is Andrea Koput.
It’s been a little bit since we talked and I wanted to get us moving on to focus on marketing: all things marketing and all things customer journey.
That is what I’m here for.
I’m here to hold your hand, walk you through and give a nice quick tidbit on your copy, your customer journey and your conversions.
And today it is all about why you!
Because each one of us in this digital entrepreneur space is a marketer.
Yes, you are a marketer!
And marketing is a simple equation.
Marketing equals plan; what you want to happen with the destination.
Where do you want it to go?
What do you want to do?
How are you gonna do it?
That is what marketing is.
You need to be able to define that for yourself.
When you define your destination, you define the goal which will always equate to sales.
You need to have a plan.
What is your personal plan?
What is the plan that’s going to meet the destination that leads to the sales?
In order to get the sales, you need to know how you’re going to get there.
Your goal is to make the sales, to get the lead, to get the people to click on the button that makes the sale.
That gets the lead.
That gets the conversion.
Whichever element of the entrepreneur space you’re in, it’s all the same plan: a brick and mortar entrepreneur space, real estate, e-com, coaching, consulting.
It’s all the same plan, you need to get the sales, you need to get the conversion.
So what is the plan?
And that’s a simple equation to go define your results in order to get the details and define the tools.
Everything is as simple as backwards engineering.
The plan you set up for yourself, what tactics, what tools do you need?
What is just the right tool belt to get to the sale?
And the only way to do that is to define your destination.
I wan to hit X number, in sales, in X amount of time.
Tell yourself exactly and set yourself up that way.
Loosey-goosey rules on ‘I’m going to be a millionaire’ is absolutely something to put on your wall, but how are you going to get there?
What is that definitive time?
Figure that out, so you can set yourself up for success.
How do you as a marketer do this?
That’s what you are; that’s your title.
Put that in your bag of tricks, because whichever sales leader target is going to equal your marketing and your marketing equals your plan, your roadmap, plus your destination; where you wanna be in a set amount of time.
Give yourself a timeframe, give yourself a goal.
Get that calendar out.
Whether it’s your Google calendar or you’re an old fashioned girl like me, that needs things written down on a piece of paper, write it down to find what you’re going to do.
And then backwards engineer, the exact steps it’s gonna take to get there.
That’s what we do here.
