Time For Time
Hello, my friend and future millionaire.
Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.
My name is Don Shade.
Now in the last episode, we looked at some of the things that you can control.
And the very first thing you can control is your time.
You know, a billionaire has 24 hours in his day, the same as you.
The only difference is how you spend those 24 hours.
What we’re going to look at is changing the way you spend some of your time short-term here so we can make some long-term gains in your life.
With all that being said, one of the things I want you to look at first is what do you do when you’re not working for somebody else.
How much free time do you really have?
Are you somebody that comes home and you watch the news every night?
What if you spent just that hour alone from six to seven, instead of watching the news, you start working on your business.
And I know what you’re thinking.
You’re thinking, well, I don’t necessarily know how, or I don’t know where to start and we’ll get into some of those choices of what direction you’re going to go in future episodes.
You can also go back over the first hundred episodes where I covered quite a bit of that stuff.
But as we move forward, when we’re starting to get you to the point where, okay, I want you to be making some income.
I want you to be making decisions that have to do with we’re moving your business forward, where we’re going after the check, the first thing we want to manage is your time.
And then we’re going to get into what happens with your money.
But while we’re on this time step, I want you to carve out an every day schedule.
Meaning every day, at this time, I’m going to work on my business, barring anything unforeseen.
I realize life gets in the way, but at some point you have to be willing to work as hard for yourself as you do for your employer, because what it comes down to is at some point, you’re going to be your own boss and you’re going to be creating your own paycheck.
And I want you to be able to look yourself in the eye and be proud of that.
Be proud of the time that you’ve put into building something that other people aren’t willing to do.
You know, when I first started out in business, one of the hardest concepts that you learn is: “if it is to be, it’s up to me,” because it’s my business, there’s nobody else involved.
You’re the magic that makes it happen.
Now, as we look at putting your schedule together and look at managing your time a little better, I want you to understand you’re not going to be perfect at it, but you can get decent control of your schedule and keep things moving forward.
That’s everything I have for this episode.
Once again, it’s just something to make you think what’s going to happen day to day to get my business moving forward.
We’ll see you on the next episode of The Money Wheel.
