Parts of the Funnel
Hello, my friend and future millionaire.
Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.
My name is Kris Hutchinson.
Do you know when the right time is to ask for the sale?
We’ve got all these different digital products out there and you probably have multiple steps in your funnel.
At what point in your funnel are you actually asking for the sale?
Well, obviously that should be on the sales page, right?
But what I see a lot of our students doing is they start trying to sell before the customer even gets to the sales page, whether it’s in their ads or their emails, and this is not the time to be selling your product.
You have an awesome sales page, and the job of that sales page is to make the sale.
So, let the page do its job.
If you’re doing email marketing, whether it’s affiliate marketing or for your own products, the whole point of the email is to get them to click the link to go to the sales page.
You need to entice them with that.
That’s the only thing you need to do in the email.
You do not want to get too salesy about it, because what it does is it puts a bad taste in the reader’s mouth.
It kind of turns them off and they’re not going to want to click on it, especially if you start getting too salesy or too pushy in your emails.
The same thing goes with the ads.
The whole point of the ad is to get them to click on the ad to go to the next page, whatever that page is, whether it’s an opt-in page or a sales page.
The whole point of the ad is just to get them to click and to go there.
And while we’re talking about different things, that brings us to the headline.
The headline needs to snap their attention and get them to want to read more.
You don’t need to make the sale right away in the headline, but it’s to get them to move down to the next step to start reading through the content.
Going back to emails, your subject line, the whole point of your subject line is to get them to open that email.
So what we’re saying is, each piece of your funnel, really just the whole purpose of it, is to get to move down the funnel.
With your email, you have the subject line, you want them to open the email.
Once they open the email and read it, you want them to click the link.
Once they’re there, if it’s a link to a sales page, now the headline of the sales page should grab their attention and make them want to read more.
The copy of the sales page should make them want to purchase.
If you are running into some problems with your funnels, try looking at those points.
Make sure that you’re only focusing on one step at each phase of your funnel, and that should help you out.
That’s everything I have for today on The Money Wheel.
