Finding Your Product

Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.
My name is Don Shade.
A little while back, I had done some episodes on turning your idea into income, and it’s amazing the feedback you get from students when you go through something like that.
A lot of what I hear is, ‘Don, I have no idea what I’m going to sell’.
In other words, ‘I don’t know what my idea is to turn to income’.
And it occurred to me at that point that maybe a lot of you are struggling with that situation, where you’re not sure what you’re going to sell or exactly what your idea is going to be.
Here’s what I challenge you to do: If you have a spouse involved in your business or a business partner, talk it over with them and find out what you would like to sell.
Ask them: ‘What is it that you would enjoy talking about?’.
And the reason I say that is you have to be relatable to your audience.
If it’s something that you’re not excited about, they’re going to see right through it in your emails, they’re going to sense your lack of enthusiasm.
Now, some of the things that you can do, you can get on ClickBank and search the products on there that are available for affiliate marketing.
What would happen at that point is they would have everything set up, so to speak, and you would just step in and start building your email list and moving things forward in that direction.
That would give you a sellable product that would have a working funnel.
Now we’re getting into some technical terms, which I don’t like, but I just want to explain to you in case you’re somebody that is thinking to yourself, ‘boy, I have no idea what I would sell online, I love the idea of having an online business, but I just don’t know what I would do’.
Don’t let that stop you.
Do some research on Google, look on Facebook at some of the other ads.
What would interest you?
You need something to be a sellable product that you’re going to make money from, because what it comes down to as you turn your idea to income: number one, the main thing that I guess I kind of overlooked in the beginning is we need to make sure that you have an idea or a product that you’re happy selling.
