From Idea To Income. – #4

Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel. 

My name is Don Shade. 

Now, as I told you, we are walking through a couple of episodes here where we take your idea and turn it into income.

In the first episode we covered making sure you have a good internet connection. 

In the next episode we covered, ‘where’s the time going to come from?’.

The last episode that I went over, we covered the topic: ‘do I have a space in my house to work on my business?’

Now I know what some of you were thinking. 

And some of it you’re getting kind of impatient. 

‘What is my idea?’

‘What am I going to sell?’ 

‘I have no idea.’ 

So if you have no idea, as far as what you’re going to sell online or how you’re going to do it, now’s the time that we start looking at that.

And that is called your niche. 

What it comes down to is: ‘what kind of products do I have an interest in?’.

There’s three main ones: It’s either health, wealth, or relationships. 

Now, if you have a niche outside of that, let’s say your interest is maybe flying model airplanes,

that isn’t a health, wealth or relationship. 

Don’t worry. 

There’s still a market for you. 

The key point I want to cover is this: no matter what your niche is, we have to decide what it is your going to sell online.

One of the things I challenge you to do, no matter what your niche is, is this – I want you to get online and research that niche. 

How many other people are selling what you’re looking to sell? 

Because I’m going to be honest with you, if you search your niche online and you can’t find anything about it, you probably don’t want to be selling that product, because you’re not going to be able to create a big enough audience to be able to make decent money.

The internet is the one place that when you search something on Google, and it’s going to be a product that you’re going to be selling, you want a lot of information to come up about that product, because that means there’s already an interested audience concerning selling that product no matter what it is.

So you don’t want to be the only one. 

You want to be the person that fits in with a bunch of other people, then maybe put your own spin on it, to be able to sell the type of product that you’re looking to sell.

So with that being said, the main thing I wanted to cover here is: ‘okay, it’s time to make a decision’.

‘What is it exactly that I am going to sell online?’ 

And if you’re at the end of this episode and you’re thinking that you have no idea what to sell, let’s look at getting into affiliate marketing.

The question still remains for you – ‘what product would I be interested in?’ 

Let’s look at selling somebody else’s product. 

Maybe a course that they’ve created, where all you do is make a commission on the sales.

This doesn’t have to be something that you created. 

There’s plenty of opportunities out there for an affiliate marketer.
