Automation
Hello, my friend and future millionaire.
Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.
My name is Kris Hutchinson.
So today what I want to talk about is what kind of automation do you have set up in your business?
When someone purchases your product, do you need to email them a password or how do they download whatever product you have?
How are they getting access to that?
Is that something that you need to manually enter into a system?
Is it something that they need to take action on on their end, whether it’s clicking a link or other means of connecting?
As you scale your business and you start making more and more sales, these tiny little tasks can really start to add up and make up a big part of your day.
And that’s where automation comes in.
First, you want to make sure that any emails that they need to receive are sent out automatically
You can do it in a timely manner.
As soon as that credit card payment hits, they can receive the email in order to access whatever it is they’ve purchased and now they are not waiting. for someone to take care of that for them.
You also don’t want it to be something that you forgot.
If someone gives you money and they don’t receive their product, they’re going to get pretty upset.
Along with automation, based off of the purchase, you can do a lot of your own marketing in an automated fashion as well.
You can create a sequence of emails to kind of walk them through a journey.
And that way, each customer is going to go through the exact same journey.
The nice thing about this is: with everything being the same, we can look at the data that we get and we can make adjustments.
If you have a 10 day email sequence and email three is not performing very well, then we know that’s the one that’s a problem, and we can make adjustments specifically to that one.
That’s just another example of why automation is key inside your business.
The other one is that it can just take care of a lot of your daily tasks; things that don’t really need or require a whole lot of attention from you.
If you can set up different triggers inside your system, when certain events happen, then other things get keyed off – It just takes less time.
Even if it’s just saving you five minutes a day, or five minutes per customer, rather once you get a thousand customers, that’s saving you quite a lot of time.
There are different automated systems that you can use.
The one that we use in our business is called Ontraport.
You can look for a 14 day free trial over at resources.moneywheelpodcast.com.
Some other ones are just a simple autoresponder, whether it’s MailChimp or Sendlane or AWeber, or any of the other ones that are out there.
An autoresponder sets off the trigger when someone makes a purchase or they sign up for your page and then they can start keying off those specific emails in a sequence.
This is just a few small automation ideas that you can have for your business.
And we’ll see you next time on The Money Wheel.
