Affiliate Marketing – is it a better start?

Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel. 

My name is Kris Hutchinson. 

You know, the last few episodes I came on here and, you know, we were talking about the different niches that your products or services might fall into, whether it’s health, wealth, or relationships.

And Don was telling you about building a business with your home team, but what if you don’t have a product at all?

What if you don’t really have the experience that you feel you need to teach somebody how to do something? 

Can you still have an online business?

Well, we’re going to talk about that today. 

So you’re able to build an online business by using what’s called affiliate marketing and what that is, where you sell somebody else’s product or service, and you earn a commission off of that sale.

Now, when Don and I first got started, we didn’t know what we were doing. 

And we actually chose the relationship niche because it was a hot seller.

Donald and I had no business being there because we weren’t really passionate about building relationships about, you know, around the dating scene and helping people find dates.

And what we found is with affiliate marketing, it’s something that you really need to have a passion for because you’re going to be talking about it a lot.

And for those first few months, I mean, it was just torture. 

And so we said, you know what, this really isn’t for us.

And that’s where we shifted gears and said, you know what? 

Don knows a lot about business building businesses. 

Why don’t we start talking about that?

And that’s what moved us over into the wealth niche. 

So as you’re building your business, sit down with your spouse and figure out the things that you’re very passionate about, things that you want to research that you want to talk about.

And then we can find different products in that niche that you can start affiliating for.
